Born in China, I gained my master’s degree from the Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Now I’m a researcher on the Biogeographic and Cultural Adaptations of Early Humans during the First Intercontinental Dispersals (BICAEHFID ERC) project, working in the Museum für Naturkunde. My PhD thesis focuses on the impact of climate vs hominins on mammalian community structure in the Chinese Plio-Pleistocene.
