Pierre Orgebin

My passion for paleontology, evolution, and natural history began in childhood. I obtained a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Poitiers, France, followed by a master’s degree in vertebrate paleontology from the University of Montpellier, France. During this time, I developed a strong interest in mammals, paleoecology and paleoenvironments.

Currently, I am pursuing a PhD affiliated with both Martin-Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg and the Museum für Naturkunde in Berlin. My research is part of a broader project investigating brain morphology in large mammals within insular environments. My doctoral work specifically focuses on artiodactyls, a group I have previously studied and have a particular affinity for.
